About Us

The Scoop:

Sports Journalism is a half-year English elective course offered at Chicopee High School in Chicopee, MA. The classroom is located on the top floor of the school, known by teachers as the "Penthouse," hence the blog name–– "The Penthouse Perspective."

Our dedicated students cover local high school varsity sports, writing engaging articles that capture key plays, individual athlete highlights and in-depth interviews.

All material published on our website is by the students, for the students. Our contributors are hard-working high schoolers who put in the work inside the classroom to shine light on the students putting in the work outside the classroom.

Whether it's in the classroom, on the field, on the court, or out on the ice, the Chicopee High School Pacers take pride in their hard work and dedication.
