Tom Brady is easily the greatest quarterback of our era, and it's not even close.
Tom Brady was the best, and most dominant NFL quarterback of his era. He beats Peyton Manning in most quarterback stats, has won more, and been to more playoffs and super bowls. 7 rings in 10 appearances through his 22 years, while Peyton manning only won 2 in 4 appearances while in his 18 years. Tom Brady made the Super Bowl 45% of his career. Pure dominance.
Tom Brady played from 2000-2022 and never had a bad year while he played, not including his season with an injury. He made a conference championship 14 times out of his 22 years. Peyton only made 5 conference championships in 18 years. Peyton Manning only beats him in MVPs. Peyton has 5 and Tom has 3. Tom Brady still beats him with most passing yards, passing touchdowns, and pass completions. Tom actually leads all those stats all time.
Tom Brady even dominated the playoffs. He has the most playoff wins of all-time with 35. That is so crazy that the player with the second most only had 16 (Joe Montana). Compared to Peyton Manning's 14 playoff wins. Not only does he dominate regular season passing records, he also dominates all playoff passing stats. He has the most passing yards, passing touchdowns and passing completions in the playoffs.
Tom Brady does not just have the stats, he also has the team's success. When you think of a quarterback, or any position, you want a winner, not a guy who just gets amazing stats. The only counter argument is that Peyton Manning had a year where he broke the most passing yards in a year and most passing touchdowns in a year. Yes, he was the best quarterback that year, that does not make him the best of the era. Tom Brady has not had as “amazing” seasons stat wise as Peyton Manning but Tom Brady has way more “great” seasons than Peyton Manning.
Tom Brady is the G.O.A.T. Not only does he destroy him in almost every stat you can think of, except MVPs, but he also destroys him in all winning stats. Won more regular season games, playoff games, and Super bowls. Also fun fact Tom Brady beat Peyton Manning lead teams 10 out of the 14 times they went head to head. BOOM! Pure dominance.
