Should Male and Female Athletes Receive Equal Pay?

No, not even a debate.

There has been so much controversy about male and female athletes not getting equal pay, well I'm just here to say that's ridiculous. Males should be getting paid more because they draw A LOT more revenue than female athletes draw in. Male sports gain a lot more attention than female sports because males are more dominant at their sports. When you have more money coming in you have more to dish out to the athletes.

Males deserve more money than females in the sports world because they draw in more views than females because males are flat out just better at sports. Males are more dominant in the aspect of having more strength and are more physical than females in sports, which most people prefer to watch a more physical game. Male sports drew in 76% more revenue than female sports which obviously would make the males earn a lot more money than females.

Males earn 15 to nearly 100% more than females in sports today. For example, Roger Federer a male tennis player, made 93 million versus women's tennis player Maria Sharapova who made only 30 million during her last season. Another example is in Basketball the average rookie in the NBA is 182% more than WNBA rookies. This is strictly based on revenue, in the NBA players receive 50% revenue while WNBA players receive only 20% of their revenue. This is because the NBA draws in a lot more viewers which allows them to have more money to pay their players a lot more money than females.

You could make the argument that females deserve more or equal pay to males in sports because they put their bodies through the same physical and mental toll. For example, they all at one point get injuries or get hurt during their careers and it takes a toll on your body that can significantly alter your life after your career. Which makes them want to earn just as much as males because they make a lot more money than them but sadly they don't have the money in their leagues to make more money.

So at the end of the day male sports overrule female sports by a landslide. If you read the statistics on how much revenue, and the views each male and female sports make males smack them and their equal pay out the court.
